A few more unlockable boards as well as more unlockable characters would be great and some of the characters and boards should be unlocked by satisfying certain conditions while others should be bought with Tokens.
more minigames to use the wii remote more efficiently. More than 6 boards, more characters. Making the graphics a little better on a board might help too. While playing on a board and moving around, it should have increased graphic and make movements more smoother

Fred, Diddy Kong IS a Mario character. You may not have noticed this, but over the past ten years, the Mario and DK canons have combined and are now one. For example, Diddy is a captain in Mario Strikers and Baseball. In Strikers, you have Kritters as goalies. In Baseball, DK’s stadium was infested with Klaptraps, plus both Diddy and Dixie are playable. In Mario Kart Wii, DK, Diddy, and Funky are all playable characters. So don’t give me that crap about Diddy not being in Mario. He’s there and very much so.

I want 8-player games! Mario Party 7 did this pretty well, sharing a controller and using the control stick and the c stick. Have two players share a remote and a nunchuck! One player moves, the other shoots, something like that. I don’t know. Or, 4 players on wii remotes, and 4 on gcn controllers, like with Bomberman Blast. Or do split gcn controllers, and split wiimote/nunchuck teams. 16 players! Now that’s a party! I don’t know how well wifi would lend itself to a full game of mario party, but minigames could work well.
I don’t care if they add more characters. Characters are just fluff to me. I think it’s funny that the very first Mario Party had only 6 characters. Six! Now they’re up over a dozen, and people still want more. In the meantime, I’m still happy with MP8. I totally want the Mario Party games for N64 on virtual console. I miss the first two (the third sucked).
I think they should have a make-your-board option. i would love to make a map to play on. Also your Mii should be playable on the party map instead of stupid side gaems.

Story:
The Power Stars are scattered across The Mushroom Kingdom and you need to collect them before Bowser can!
Boards:
DK Jungle: Collect Stars for 20 coins.
Blooper Beach: Buy stars of increasing prices (5-30).
Pokey Dessert: Play a special star minigame after paying in 10 coins. If you win, you get the star. Lose, and you get nothing. Not even a refund.
Penguin Mountain: Every turn, the star moves 1-5 spaces forward, meaning the player has to chase after it and pay 10 coins for it.
King Boo’s Mansion: There’s no board map, so it’s a maze that leaves you confused. Eventually, you’ll find the Boo guard. Brag him with 10-25 coins, and he’ll let you through what could be a star room, or a PITFALL ROOM!
Monty’s Tunnelway: Pay as many stars that you can afford.
Koopa Town: Buy a random amount of coins for a star box, a random, secret amount of stars. Or Ztars…
Bowser’s Castle (Complete story mode A.): Steal stars from opponents via Bowser traps bought from Bowser Jr. for 25 coins. Earn more stars at Bowser’s Star Banks by buying star boxes for 40 coins. (Yes, Bowser is mean!)
Comet Observatory (Complete Story Mode B.): Buy star pieces for 5 coins. Collect 5 for a star!
New Item:
Reverse ‘Shroom: Travel backwards.
Repeat ‘Shroom: Repeat the effect of the current space you are on.

I want 8-player games! Mario Party 7 did this pretty well, sharing a controller and using the control stick and the c stick. Have two players share a remote and a nunchuck! One player moves, the other shoots, something like that. I don’t know. Or, 4 players on wii remotes, and 4 on gcn controllers, like with Bomberman Blast. Or do split gcn controllers, and split wiimote/nunchuck teams. 16 players! Now that’s a party! I don’t know how well wifi would lend itself to a full game of mario party, but minigames could work well.
I don’t care if they add more characters. Characters are just fluff to me. I think it’s funny that the very first Mario Party had only 6 characters. Six! Now they’re up over a dozen, and people still want more. In the meantime, I’m still happy with MP8. I totally want the Mario Party games for N64 on virtual console. I miss the first two (the third sucked).
I think they should have a make-your-board option. i would love to make a map to play on. Also your Mii should be playable on the party map instead of stupid side gaems.

The Power Stars are scattered across The Mushroom Kingdom and you need to collect them before Bowser can!
Boards:
DK Jungle: Collect Stars for 20 coins.
Blooper Beach: Buy stars of increasing prices (5-30).
Pokey Dessert: Play a special star minigame after paying in 10 coins. If you win, you get the star. Lose, and you get nothing. Not even a refund.
Penguin Mountain: Every turn, the star moves 1-5 spaces forward, meaning the player has to chase after it and pay 10 coins for it.
King Boo’s Mansion: There’s no board map, so it’s a maze that leaves you confused. Eventually, you’ll find the Boo guard. Brag him with 10-25 coins, and he’ll let you through what could be a star room, or a PITFALL ROOM!
Monty’s Tunnelway: Pay as many stars that you can afford.
Koopa Town: Buy a random amount of coins for a star box, a random, secret amount of stars. Or Ztars…
Bowser’s Castle (Complete story mode A.): Steal stars from opponents via Bowser traps bought from Bowser Jr. for 25 coins. Earn more stars at Bowser’s Star Banks by buying star boxes for 40 coins. (Yes, Bowser is mean!)
Comet Observatory (Complete Story Mode B.): Buy star pieces for 5 coins. Collect 5 for a star!
New Item:
Reverse ‘Shroom: Travel backwards.
Repeat ‘Shroom: Repeat the effect of the current space you are on.

-The option to make it so you only pay 20 coins for a star on every map instead of what MP 5 - 8 was like, have it more like MP 1 - 3.
-Have a good host, I hated that Bigtop thing off of MP8, have either Toadsworth, or Tumble host.
-Have duels like MP2 - MP4(maybe 3)
-Stop with may of these new pointless spaces, some are okay, but most are not necesary, more like MP1 - 3, don’t get me wrong, some spaces are okay.
-Basically put in MP9 everything from MP1 - 3, with a few new features. I sold MP8 the 2nd week I had it, the last good MP was 4, but to this day I mainly play 1, 2, 3, and rarely 4.
- Bottomn line, go back to the original formula.

They should have maybe, negative ice, so you could possibly go back, if needed.
Don’t **** with the classics, either re-release Mario Party 1-3 on Wii, or cut out all of these new features, they are ruining the old features which made the game famous.
